Born in late-May, 2019, Kona came into my family’s life in the summer of 2019. These are some photos of her taken around 7 or so months old. More photos to come. The “Blue” in her name was coined since she had a blue string around her neck when she was still living with her litter. Her siblings had different colors of strings around theirs, too.
The sculpture seen in the photo Whale Tails, titled “Reverence,” was created in 1989 by Jim Sardonis. The artwork is meant to display the fragility of the planet and lays I-89 in northeastern Vermont. Technology Park is one of Kona’s favorite leisure spots to run wild.
